Craft Sportswear becomes official sportswear supplier for WFC 2022 in Switzerland
The International Floorball Federation and the local Swiss entity New Wave Group (SA) have reached an agreement for Craft to supply the official referee clothing for the 2022 Men’s Floorball World Championships in Switzerland.
After the successful cooperation during the last edition of the 2020 World Championships in Helsinki, there was a solid basis to start negotiations to continue this partnership. The new idea for IFF events of custom referee jerseys featuring Fisherman’s Friend was a big hit and received a lot of attention.
– We are very happy to partner with the IFF for the 2022 Floorball World Championships in our countrysaid Mr. Sébastien Rytz, Marketing Manager for New Wave Group Switzerland. The sixteen people in charge of refereeing the matches in Switzerland will be dressed from head to toe by Craft. In addition to referee outfits, they will also wear practice kits, warm-up shirts, and Craft shoes. Additionally, referees can be spotted carrying their gear in a duffel bag and covering their heads with Craft beanies.
– I am delighted to continue the partnership with Craft. Feedback on referee clothing has been very good. We also appreciate their openness to produce this revolutionary custom shirt which has received a lot of positive attention. In fact, there is an ongoing negotiation for a possible next customization! Given the evolution of ticket sales and the establishment of TV visibility for Switzerland, I am sure that we will clearly meet the visibility expectations of our partner.Explain Tero Kalsta, IFF Sales Coordinator.
