Sale of used sports equipment

The Jefferson Hills Recreation Initiative will be selling donated used sports equipment April 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gill Hall Park to raise funds for the initiative to offset the cost of field upgrades and sports user-friendly, and facility planning software for community residents.

March to Sack Hunger Campaign

The South Hills Interfaith Movement is holding its second annual “March to Sack Hunger” campaign, an urgent month-long initiative, to raise awareness of suburban poverty and fight hunger in the South Hills.

To support the campaign, the community is encouraged to participate in weekly themes like fundraising with a friend, buying takeout from local restaurants and tuning in on social media to hear touching stories from volunteers. , donors and SHIM staff.

St. Thomas the Apostle Parish $50,000 Raffle

St. Thomas the Apostle Parish is holding a $50,000 raffle. To enter, purchase a $100 raffle ticket that benefits both St. Therese’s School and St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. The winning number will be drawn on Easter Sunday, April 4 at 7 p.m. The draw will be based on the Pennsylvania Daily Lottery.
