Riddell sells Kollege Town sportswear division to BSN SPORTS
DES PLAINES, Illinois – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Riddell, the leader in football helmet technology, today announced the divestiture and sale of certain assets associated with Kollege Town Sports, a division of the company’s apparel business, to BSN SPORTS. Kollege Town is a team and corporate sportswear reseller, which was acquired by Riddell in 2015 to operate the corporate clothing business. BSN SPORTS is the nation’s largest distributor and direct distributor of sporting goods in the school and league markets and a division of Varsity Brands. The divestiture includes much of Kollege Town’s sales force, sales and customer service management, as well as fanaKTive’s capabilities.
