After MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli, now Virender Sehwag has launched his own line of sportswear and sports equipment under the “VS” brand.

Launched nationwide with India’s first exclusive store in Ahmedabad, the VS brand is managed by Viru Retail Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between World of Viru Pvt, owned by Sehwag. Ltd and Stitched Textiles Pvt. Ltd.

With more than 50 storage units (SKUs) primarily in sports and leisure wear, as well as sports equipment, the brand seeks to tap into the affordable consumer segment.

“While providing quality products, I want to cater for the affordability of the middle class which means my fans follow. There are already some high end sportswear brands on the market. Plus, in the future. , we are planning to open stores in Delhi, Mumbai and other major cities, in addition to tapping into the online retail segment, ”Sehwag said Commercial standard.

By the end of calendar year 2020, Brand VS plans to open around 50 stores, operating a turnover of over Rs 22 crore ($ 3 million).
